Bulbo patens is a species from India, Thailand, Malaysia, Sumatra and Borneo.
They are found in low land swamp regions often on tree trunks.
They are a medium size bulbo, with the flowers ranging up to 4cm's.
Ideal conditions are
- low to medium light that is filtered,
- hot locations
- in a well drained mix that does not remain soggy.
They can be grown on a mount provided water and humidity is maintained.
