Bulbophyllum wendlandianum is an attractive flowering Bulbo from Burma and Thailand, growing in a 50mm pot.
These guys can grow up to about 8cm's with a psudobulb around the 2.5cm mark spaced about 3cm between each bulb.
Commonly they flower at the end of the year and can have 4-5 flowers that are up to 9cm long.
They have started to take off now, which indicates to me they like warmth and don't like getting disturbed too much.
Ideal conditions are
- low to medium light that is filtered,
- cool to warm locations
- in a well drained mix that does not remain soggy.
They can be grown on a mount provided water and humidity is maintained.
