Dendrobium antennatum is a species from Far North Qld, Australia (and more commonly PNG) commonly named the green horned dendrobium.

Both the parents are short in size, up to 50cm's in height. They are vigorous growing and clump quite quickly.

One the parents of these Den antennatums , carries flowers continuously for 11 months of the year, and has a break around January, before resuming again. The flowers are very long lasting and not seasonal.

Expect 7-12 flowers about 4-5 cm's.

Ideal conditions are

  • medium to high light that is filtered, 
  • warm to hot locations
  • in a well drained mix that dries before it is watered again.

They can be grown on a mount and grow on trees in situ.
