This species of Dendrobium is located in Malaya, peninsular Thailand, and Sarawak, Borneo.
These dendrobiums are in the Aporum family and have jagged leaves.
The plants available are in 50mm pots and psudobulbs will grow from 15-100cm.
The flowers are about 1 cm and are yellowish with red-purple stripes although the leaf pattern makes this orchid desirable without flowers.
Ideal conditions are
- medium filtered light,
- warm to hot locations
- in a well drained mix that dries before it is watered again.
They can be grown on a mount and that will give a good display of the pendulous habit.
