Stereochilus dalatensis is a miniature species from Thailand and Vietnam.
They have been found at 800-1400 M above sea level so should be cool tolerant, but they seem to grow well in Townsville too.
The leaf span can reach about 8cm on mature plants. The ones on offer are about 5cm.
You can get about 5-8 flowers on a raceme and the flowers are usually 1/2 cm.
Ideal conditions are
- medium to high light that is filtered, but may need protection in Summer
- cool to warm locations
- in a well drained mix that dries before it is watered again.
They can be grown on a mount or on trees.
